CWA Local 7103 Endorses Josh Turek for U.S. Senate

The union represents workers in Western Iowa

Des Moines, IA – Today, CWA Local 7103, based in Sioux City, endorsed Josh Turek for U.S. Senate.

“CWA Local 7103 is proud to endorse Josh Turek for Senate, because he’s exactly the kind of working class fighter we need in Washington. Josh has been advocating for workers – especially those of us in red Western Iowa – for his entire time in Des Moines, and coming from a working class community that thrives because of union membership, he knows just how important it is to keep our unions strong,” said Corey Davis, President, CWA 7103.

CWA 7103 represents hundreds of workers in the private communications industry, as well as public sector employees at Council Bluffs Schools, the City of Council Bluffs, Sioux City Public Library, and Woodbury County roads.

“It’s an honor to have the support of CWA 7103, a local that makes my hometown of Council Bluffs, and all of Western Iowa, strong. These are the working class folks I am going to D.C. to represent – paraeducators, librarians, construction workers, and public servants. That’s what our campaign is all about,” said Josh Turek.
