Small-dollar, grassroots donors are ready to make a generational change in Iowa

Nearly $3 million of the quarter’s haul came in the 28 days after Josh’s June primary victory

Des Moines, IA – Today, two-time Paralympic gold medalist and Iowa State Representative Josh Turek announced he raised more than $3.8 million across campaign committees in the second quarter of 2026, fueled by nearly 68,000 individual donations from all of Iowa’s 99 counties. Nearly $3 million of the quarter’s haul came in the 28 days after Josh’s June 2nd primary victory.

Since the start of the campaign, over 90,000 individuals have chipped in to support Josh, underscoring solid grassroots support that only continues to grow. The campaign is fueled by the same working class folks Josh is committed to representing in the U.S. Senate with teachers and retirees topping the list of supporter occupations.

With 111 days to go until Election Day, Josh has momentum at his back. Fox News recently released a poll showing Josh leading Ashley Hinson by four points as he continues to outperform partisanship and appeal to Independents and Republicans. Earlier this month, Josh kicked off his “Team Iowa Tour” alongside Iowa farmers, labor leaders, veterans, teachers, and even a Republican.
