Insulators Union Endorses Josh Turek for U.S. Senate

Council Bluffs, IA – Today, the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators Local #39 endorsed Josh Turek for U.S. Senate.

“We’re proud to support Josh for U.S. Senate because we know he’ll continue his record of supporting unions,” said John Hanson, Business Manager for Insulators Local 39. “He’s been a fighter for the working class during his time in the state legislature and we know he’ll take that same fight to Washington.”

Turek has a 100% pro-union voting record in the Iowa state legislature and is deeply committed to protecting the right of workers to organize.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Insulators Local 39. In working class communities like mine, unions are essential to providing good-paying jobs and benefits that support families,” said Josh Turek. “At a time when Washington is more focused on billionaires, I’ll continue fighting for the working class and the unions that make it strong.”

Today’s union endorsement builds on growing momentum for Turek’s Senate campaign. The Insulators join 40 other Iowa leaders including 30 current and former state legislators, former Attorney General Tom Miller, and former Lt. Governor Sally Pederson.
