Josh Turek Announces Over $1.1 Million Fundraising Quarter

Campaign shows strong momentum in the first reporting period of election year

Des Moines, IA – Today, two-time Paralympic gold medalist and Iowa State Representative Josh Turek announced a fundraising haul of more than $1.1 million in the first quarter of 2026.

Since launching his campaign last summer, Josh has led the Democratic field in fundraising. The momentum behind Josh’s campaign continues to grow with nearly 53,000 individual donors with an average donation of $33.

“Josh Turek is building the movement that will secure wins in both June and November. He’s the only candidate in this race – Democrat or Republican – who isn’t a millionaire, and he’s the only candidate in this primary who has even run against a Republican.
