Josh Turek Rolls Out New Slate of Endorsements

Additional elected officials and community leaders are rallying around Turek ahead of the June Primary

Des Moines, IA – Today, four time Paralympian and State Representative Josh Turek announced a new slate of endorsements in his race for U.S. Senate.

“Josh Turek is the champion we need to take advantage of the generational opportunity to flip Iowa’s U.S. Senate Seat. Having criss-crossed this state and met with voters in all 99 counties, I know that his message will resonate with the voters we need to win this race,” said Dr. Andy McGuire, former Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party.

“I’m proud to endorse Josh Turek for Senate because he has what it takes to win and lead with compassion. I support Josh because of his authenticity and his ability to bring people of all kinds together to make real progress on the kitchen table issues affecting everyday Iowans,” said Lauren Whitehead, former Solon City Councilor and former Solon Mayor Pro Tem.

“It’s not easy to win as a Democrat in Western Iowa – I know that firsthand. If you can win out in Western Iowa, you can win anywhere. With an unyielding work ethic and a deep understanding of the hurt so many Iowans are feeling right now, I know that Josh Turek can and will defeat Ashley Hinson in November,” said Steve Hansen, Former State Rep. and current Director of Sioux City Public Museum.

These endorsements build on the more than 75 Iowa leaders who know Josh Turek is the best candidate to take on Ashley Hinson.
