NEW: Fox News Rates IA-Sen as TOSS-UP*Fox News: “All of these numbers spell out a toss-up election”*

Des Moines, IA – In Fox News’ new race forecast, Iowa’s U.S. Senate race is rated as a toss-up. Fox found that “most Americans feel like the system is stacked against them” and “a majority disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, and their discontent goes deeper than tariffs and gas prices.”

“We know this race is winnable because Iowans are sick and tired of corrupt politicians like multi-millionaire Ashley Hinson who has enriched herself and her donors at the expense of everyday families,” said Turek for Iowa campaign manager Brendan Koch. “Iowans are ready to elect a working class champion who understands what they are feeling and will always fight for them, not the billionaires and big corporations. That is exactly why Iowans will send Josh Turek to the U.S. Senate in 105 days.”

  • Iowa has seemed firmly Republican since 2016, when white working-class voters turned out in droves for Trump.
  • They have remained loyal to the president, but overall, Iowa’s voters don’t look that different than Alaska or Ohio, two other states that both parties believe are ultra-competitive this year.
  • In the latest Fox News Poll, Democratic Senate candidate and State Rep. Josh Turek had a four-point edge at 50% to Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson at 46%.
  • Turek’s counterpart for governor opened up a nine-point lead in the same poll. Other surveys show a tighter race, but all of these numbers spell out a toss-up election, which is where the state sits in this forecast.

This new rating comes as Josh continues to campaign across Iowa in his Team Iowa Tour, meeting voters where they are and expanding the coalition to win.

Meanwhile, Ashley Hinson has not held a single town hall since she launched her Senate campaign, and recent reporting found she “lied about owning stock”, “fought for a tax break that benefits her own fortune”, and “[spent $50,000 of taxpayers’ money on [her] luxury apartment](https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15932909/iowa-ashley-hinson-lavish-spending-vacations-apartment.html?ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&ito=1490)” – all while voting to hurt Iowans.
