Meanwhile, because of Hinson and her seven votes for the Iran war, Iowans are struggling under skyrocketing prices on everything from gas to groceries to school supplies

“Hinson’s net worth went up as much as $8 million since she got here. While Iowans got high prices, Hinson got up to a million dollars richer — just last year,” says the narrator in the ad.

Hinson’s net worth has increased by up to $8 million since she got to D.C., making her as much as 15 times richer as she championed legislation that “benefits her own family fortune.” Despite telling Iowans she sold all of her stock, Hinson quietly holds up to $5 million in insurance stock and made up to $1 million off her stock just last year.

There are 73 millionaires in the U.S. Senate – unlike Ashley Hinson, Josh Turek would not be another one.

What’s more: In the time that Hinson was enriching herself, she raked in millions of dollars from corporate PACs and lobbyists while repeatedly voting to hurt Iowans. Hinson voted seven times to continue the war in Iran, which has caused record-high diesel and skyhigh gas prices, voted five times for the tariffs that are devastating farmers and making everything more expensive, and voted numerous times to raise health insurance premiums.

The campaign started the general election running “USA,” a spot that features Josh speaking directly to Iowans about his lifelong commitment to putting country over party, followed by “Prove It,” which highlights the more than 700 times Josh voted with Iowa Republicans and “I-35,” which spotlights Josh’s commitment to working with anyone – including President Trump – to fix our broken immigration system, “Went Through Hell” and “Underdog,” which highlight Josh’s persistent fight in the face of adversity, and “Getting Hammered,” which features Craig, an Iowa farmer, talking to Josh about the impact of record-high diesel prices as we enter peak harvest season.

The campaign has also been spotlighting Ashley Hinson’s longstanding record of corrupt self dealing in D.C. with “C’mon.”
