NEW POLL: Josh Turek Leads Ashley Hinson By Four Points in IA-SEN

Josh is winning Independents by 8-points as Hinson’s -7 favorability drags her down

Des Moines, IA – Today the Josh Turek for Iowa campaign released a poll showing Josh Turek leading the U.S. Senate race in Iowa 46-42-6 as Josh continues to outperform the state’s Republican-leaning partisan dynamics.

A key finding: Josh leads among key center-right voting blocs who will decide this race, winning registered Independents by 8 points and self-identified moderate independents and Republicans by 4 points.

What’s more: Despite being significantly outspent in August, Josh maintains a +14 favorability while Hinson’s underwater favorability (-7) drags her down and rivals Trump’s -9 favorability.

In just the last few weeks, Cook Political Report moved Iowa’s U.S. Senate Race to Toss Up and more than 60 Iowa Republicans endorsed Josh as he criss-crossed the state on his “Team Iowa Tour,” campaigning at NASCAR, parades, the State Fair, RAGBRAI, tailgates, and more — in all of Iowa’s 99 counties. Meanwhile, the campaign is blanketing screens across Iowa with “USA,” which outlines Josh’s lifelong commitment to putting country over party, “Prove It,” which highlights the more than 700 times Josh voted with Iowa Republicans, and “I-35,” which makes clear his commitment to working with anyone – including President Trump – to address immigration.
