RECAP: Josh Turek Barnstormed North Central Iowa This Week
Des Moines, IA – Yesterday, Josh Turek continued his “Team Iowa” tour with stops across North Central Iowa. Josh is meeting Iowans where they are, including at county fairs, as part of the “go everywhere” strategy he’s become known for. Josh is focused on reaching as many Iowans as he can from across the political spectrum and across the state ahead of November’s election.

Yesterday, he visited the Floyd County Fair, where he visited Hadleigh, an 11-year-old with spina bifida, who showed him around the fair. 

Then, he spoke to a packed room of excited Iowans in Butler County. He heard from community members about the challenges facing rural Iowa and reaffirmed his commitment to being a Senator for all Iowans. 

He finished the day with a visit to the Franklin County Fair, where he played some games, met some animals, and heard from more Iowans about why they are ready for change this November.

Over the next 109 days, Josh will continue to criss-cross the state, campaigning in places where Democrats usually don’t to build the coalition of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans that it will take to win this U.S. Senate Seat.
